Below are Gabriele’s drawings of her (ultimately incomplete) Tarot deck. She believed her designs of the Minor Arcana to be lost for 34 years until the drawings showed up in a neglected box.
Her Major Arcana consists of portraits of the the ‘kings’ and ‘queens’ of the Hill.
The above drawing of the four brothers originally consisted of two drawing — three brothers (Eddie, Mike and Billy) on one, and Donald on a separate canvas. When Donald’s portrait partially burned during one of the fires that also destroyed a portion of the tipi, she combined all four brothers into one portrait.
