The Rat Sass zine was sent out to Rats after the New York Conference, aka, “RAT Fest(ation) New York City, August 14-24, 1997.” The mail tube contents included “Epistles to RAT from Erik, Chris and Barry” with a Rat Sass beer bottle, logo design by John Baumann. Inside the beer bottle was a long scroll, a wayward message from the Beer Mystic, Bart Plantenga.
